Job Description

This position is located in the Maintenance Division of the White House and President's Park. This position reports directly to the Park Manager and serves as Branch Chief of Grounds and Facility Maintenance as well as Staff Advisor on matters related to grounds and facility management. The geographic areas of responsibility include Lafayette Park, the Ellipse, 1st Division Memorial, 2nd Division Memorial, Sherman Park and Pennsylvania Avenue/Jackson Place/Madison Place area.

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability to Lead or Supervise (SCREEN OUT) Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic) Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc. Use of Measuring Instruments Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Knowledge of Materials If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration.
