Employer Description A rapidly expanding, good quality, budget but edgy and rather funky short-stay accommodation brand. Head office is located in Johannesburg and units are located across Southern Africa on the National Routes. These roles are located in the Mpumalanga/Kruger regions of Mpumalanga. Each Manager will manage two separate site locations. Job Description Our client, a quality short-stay accommodation Motel-Concept brand, with units located across Southern Africa seeks two cluster Managers for their Mpumalanga region units. These roles will involve daily operations management of two 30-40 bedroom facilities in fairly close proximity to one another (roughly 50km apart). Each site has a small Takeaway Restaurant/kitchen facility and convenience store . The rooms offer comfortable, clean, short-stay accommodation offerings, comprising of a king-size bed, Wifi (no TV), Air Conditioner as well as Quality Shower/Bathrooms ensuite. The accommodation is geared mostly to leisure travelers who are travelling on the National Routes to and from the Kruger areas. This role will involve daily operations management of the units as well as the shop and takeaway, and catering for Tour Groups which occasionally visit the units (Boma Dinners/Poitjies, Braais). We seek candidates who are strong all rounders with good Food and Beverage cost and stock control experience. Great Staff Management and Guest Relations Management capabilities and proven track record. Qualifications Formal Hospitality Qualifications are a strong advantage. Skills Good Food and Beverage Menu Planning, Cost, Stock Control, Budget and Finance Management skills and abilities. Versatile all rounder, able to oversee rooms management and housekeeping as well as daily food service and the convenience stores located at each site. Hands On. Good Administration skills.
