LIVESTOCK/HORSE/FLY FISHING POSITION

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS At least 1-year previous farm/lodge management or field guide experience Relevant Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous General farm management skills Experience in cattle management. Bilingual in English and Afrikaans Fit and strong and healthy job requires physical work Able to ride a horse Strong management & communication skills Fly fishing experience an advantage Sober habits Must have excellent people skills to interact with guests Maintenance orientated - plumbing and electricity and general building an advantage. Valid code 8 drivers license RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Guest liaison and host. Building maintenance and farm maintenance. General farm management duties. Maintain the roads, lawns and cut firewood. Manage the cattle, experience in cattle management an advantage. Exercise and take care of the horses. Take guests on outrides. Fly fishing guidance.
