Oracle Simphony POS Developer

Responsibilities : - Develop and customize Oracle Simphony POS solutions based on client requirements. - Design, develop, and implement POS enhancements and integrations with third-party systems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. - Configure and maintain POS system settings, menus, and user roles. - Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability and reliability of the POS system. - Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and resolve POS-related issues in a timely manner. - Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency. - Keep abreast of Oracle Simphony updates, patches, and new features, and evaluate their impact on existing implementations. - Document technical specifications, configurations, and procedures related to the POS system. Requirements : - Proficiency in Oracle Simphony POS development and customization. - Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and POS system requirements. - Experience with POS integrations, including payment gateways, loyalty programs, and kitchen display systems. - Knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL for data management and reporting. - Familiarity with Java programming language for customizations and extensions. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. - Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. - Experience with version control systems and issue tracking tools. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
