Senior Associate - Business System Analysis

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate - Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and creating dashboards and reports to monitor performance metrics and identify potential deviations. Additionally, they will work on our Pricing Tool to set up promotions and price changes as per the requirements provided by team leads. This role will own Pricing & Promotion Operations activities and provide support for Special Pricing filing in our CRM tool, which is based on Salesforce. Responsibilities : - Dashboard and Report Creation: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that enable the monitoring of key performance metrics. - Utilize data visualization techniques to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. - Pricing Tool Management: Collaborate with team leads to set up promotions and price changes in the Pricing Tool. - Ensure adherence to requirements and guidelines while implementing changes. - Pricing & Promotion Operations: Take ownership of Pricing & Promotion Operations activities, including managing pricing data, analyzing pricing trends, and implementing pricing strategies to optimize business performance. - CRM Support: Provide support for Special Pricing filing in our CRM tool, which is based on Salesforce. - Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entered into the system. - Data Analysis and Manipulation: Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources using tools such as SQL, Excel, Hadoop, Hive, Python, R, or R-Shiny. - Identify insights and trends to support decision-making processes. - Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and insights to stakeholders, including mid-level and higher executives. - Communicate findings effectively and provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis. - Operational Excellence: Ensure flawless execution and operational excellence in all aspects of pricing and promotion operations. - Maintain attention to detail and uphold the highest level of quality through checks and controls. - Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in pricing and promotion operations. - Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Applied Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. - Master's degree or MBA is preferred. - 3 years of experience in analytics or a similar field with a Bachelor's degree, or 2 years of experience with a Master's degree. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Experience with database query languages such as Teradata SQL, SparkSQL, and an understanding of data warehouse architecture. - Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Python, R, R-Shiny, and Tableau. - Previous experience in web analytics or at a leading management consulting, financial services, or marketing company is desirable. - Strong reporting skills with the ability to analyze data and extract actionable insights. - Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Drive, self-motivation, and attention to detail. - Previous experience and genuine enthusiasm for e-commerce or marketplace businesses is a plus.
