Why Optimal : - Work Life Balance - International exposure - Maximum Growth Opportunities - Platform to learn new technologies - On-Site Opportunities Hiring- ETL Developer (AWS sagemaker, Data warehouse, Tableau, AI/ML)- Permanent Remote Experience- 10 years Shift: 6:00AM - 3:00 PM ( Australian Shift) Position Summary: ETL Developer This role includes all areas relating to reporting and business intelligence i.e. Tableau, any area that involves the database and its associated architecture including data warehouse, ETL, analytics and future data interactions i.e. ML, AI etc. This role will consistently be exploring new technologies and tools which provide Plutora with competitive features, such as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Key Responsibilities : - Manage and work on the day to day tasks (technical and non-technical) to ensure on time delivery and high quality releases of new features, enhancements, and support fixes - Manage the entire reporting and analytics product life cycle including backlog management, production support fixes and on-time release delivery - Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing, Customer Success) through customer requirements, product development, and market positioning - Implement product delivery plans working with all departments to execute - Define product release requirements via user stories at a tech level around the BI space. - Hands-on delivery with product design/architecture and in some cases code/configuration implementation - Work with infrastructure to define best practice data architecture and delivery - Serve as internal evangelist for the product who is always approachable - Ensure technical documentation is created and maintained - Adhere to all coding standards and contribute to their enhancement - Assist other team members though the release process including design stages and PRs - Comply with all Company policies and procedures Skills : - Strong experience using SQL - Experience with Tableau (desktop and web versions) - Experience with Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) or strong desire to research and learn these skills. Specifically AWS SageMaker - Experience with performance tuning backend server configuration such as Linux or Windows - Strong Experience with SQL Server 2016 (managing design and performance of large datasets) - Good experience designing and managing a high-performing data warehouse - Technical architecture around data and analytics specifically Tableau or similar cutting edge Data Visualizations tools - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills - Product planning skills Knowledge : - Software development and quality assurance processes - Fundamental development operations - Fundamental data application and reporting development - BI architecture and analytics ideally some working knowledge in AI, DL and ML spaces.
