Position Overview : We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer, particularly one proficient in Shopify frontend development, showcasing a track record of constructing responsive web interfaces/applications and crafting apps utilizing Shopify App Embed/App Blocks within Theme app extensions. If the opportunity of having your code exercised across millions of ecommerce sessions a day around the globe while creating meaningful value, this might be just the role for you. Key Responsibilities : Collaborate on crafting the UI for Storefronts, focusing on Shopify-specific platforms. Develop UI elements utilizing App Embed, App Block, Cart Checkout Extensions, and Customer Checkout Extensions. Write customizable & extendable UI on storefront Optimize the code to meet platform specific specifications Write scalable and performing UI that works on customer base of 37000 merchants Integrate with REST APIs Write JS APIs for supporting : You are so comfortable with JavaScript that you have been tempted to add it as a normal language you can read and write in. Exposure to modern frameworks like React, Angular, Vue, etc is a bonus. You must be proud of something you've worked on in the past? We'd love to see it - in fact, we insist on seeing it. You are familiar with CSS, HTML/DOM and web APIs like Storage, Web workers, etc. (Read second part of 1) You are comfortable with the web's Swiss Army knife, aka Browser dev tools.
