Position Overview : We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. The Senior Shopify Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify e commerce solutions to meet our business needs. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of experience in Shopify development and a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement custom Shopify themes, templates, and functionalities. - Develop and customize Shopify apps and extensions to enhance website features and performance. - Integrate third-party applications and APIs to extend Shopify's core functionality. - Optimize website performance, page load times, and overall user experience. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions. - Stay updated on the latest Shopify updates, trends, and best practices, and recommend enhancements accordingly. - Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members. Qualifications : - 4 years of experience in Shopify development, with a strong portfolio highlighting Shopify projects. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. - In-depth knowledge of Shopify platform architecture, Shopify APIs, Liquid programming language and Liquid Template Engines. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment workflows. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Shopify certification(s) is a plus.
